Bave Tayar, célèbre acteur kurde originaire de Syrie, a quatre épouses, seize filles, mais un seul fils, Tayaro. Son fils a disparu, probablement parti en Europe, et deux de ses filles ont rejoint l’armée des YPJ pour combattre Daech à son insu. Il vend tout ce qu’il possède pour partir à la recherche de son fils unique. Ce film raconte l’histoire de son périple et les profondes réflexions que Bave Tayar acquiert en chemin.
