Après une tempête, la pêcheuse Maria sort son mari – vivant – de la mer, alors qu’il est porté disparu depuis des années. Son désir ardent lui fait croire à l’impossible. Pourtant, un hélicoptère tourne dans le ciel, des corps sont évacués dans le port et du plastique blanc recouvre le visage des morts. Cette nuit, tout se jouera à quitte ou double. Maria parviendra-t-elle à mettre un terme à sa solitude et à sa perception biaisée d’un monde absurde?
