Born in 1994, she is Swiss-Palestinian filmmaker. She studied film at the ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree with a focus on screenwriting. Her graduation film IT MUST (2021), co-directed with Flavio Luca Marano, premiered at the 74th Locarno Film Festival and won the Best Swiss Newcomer Award. In 2022 Issa and Marano founded their production company Sinn sieht sich Filmproduktion GmbH. She lives and works in Zurich.
