Miriam Laura Leonardi
Actor, Director, Screenwriter, Editor
Born in Lörrach, Switzerland. 2009 Degree in photography, from École de l'image, Les Gobelins in Paris. Video and installation artist with national and international exhibitions since 2014, including at the Swiss Institute New York, Kunsthalle Bern, Kunsthalle Zürich, Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles, CAPC Bordeaux, Istituto Svizzero Milano, Centre d'art contemporain Geneva. 2015 Master of Fine Arts, with honours from ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). Since 2019 lecturer in video art at the ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne) in the Bachelor of Fine Arts programme. Prizes among others: Prix Mobilière, Swiss Art Awards, Kadist Production Grant and scholarship holder of several residency programmes, including the Luma Foundation in Arles, the Swiss Institute New York, Gasworks in London and the Istituto Svizzero in Rome.
