In der Schweiz werden jedes Jahr einige Dokumentarfilme zum Thema Sterben produziert. Die meist sehr emotionalen Filme finden Anklang beim Publikum und werden nicht selten mit Festivalpreisen überhäuft. Die beiden Nachwuchsfilmer Simon Baumann und Andreas Pfiffner sehen darum ihre Chance gekommen, mit einem subtilen Kurzdokumentarfilm zum Thema Sterben einen Achtungserfolg landen zu können. Mit grossem Eifer stürzen sie sich in das Vorhaben und setzen sich gleich selbst unter hohen Erfolgsdruck.
