Emile Gardaz, der Poet, Schriftsteller, Autor von Liedertexten und Radiomacher ist 2007 gestorben. Als unvergesslicher Interpret von Miliquet, dem Kumpan von Oin-Oin, brachte er uns viele Jahre zum Lachen. Doch als der Poet mit dem melancholischen Blick ist Gardaz noch wenig bekannt. Dieser Film würdigt einen der originellsten Westschweizer Autoren seiner Generation. Das bäurische Leben und die Menschen seiner Heimat dienen ihm als Inspirationsquelle, wobei er sich selber jedoch als Nomaden bezeichnete.
