Der Film erzählt von der Identitätskrise der äthiopischen Gemeinschaft in Israel, anhand von vier jüdisch-äthiopischen Israelis. Als Kinder kamen sie ins Gelobte Land, aber eine Heimat haben sie nicht gefunden. In Äthiopien waren sie die Juden, in Israel sind sie die Schwarzen. Nun wecken Demonstrationen auf der Strasse und persönliches Engagement Hoffnung auf eine bessere Zukunft.
