Geboren 1974 in Assuan, Ägypten. Studium der Medienwissenschaften und Journalismus an der Faculty of Art, South Valley University in Ägypten. Studium der Regie an der F+F Zürich, Schule für Kunst und Design, Schweiz, wo er nach seinem Abschluss arbeitete. Als freier Filmemacher realisiert er Spiel- und Dokumentarfilme. Gründer von Swiss Initiative – culture projects, Zürich, Karmakol International Festival, Sudan, und FEKRA Cultural Center, Assuan, Ägypten. Mitbegründer von donkeyshot filmproduction Zürich.
