Born in 1970 in Bangkok, Thailand. Thai citizenship. Degree in Architecture from Khon Kaen University. MFA in Filmmaking from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Works as film director, producer and contemporary artist. 2010 Palme d'or in Cannes for “Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives”. 2011 Teaches a workshop at the cinema department/cinema du réel of the HEAD (Haute École d'Art et de Design) Geneva.
