David Figueroa García

Originally from Mexico City, David Figueroa García graduated from the University of the City of New York and holds a MFA in film from Columbia University. RATITAS, won best short film in Brooklyn and Monterrey. PERFIDIA, premiered in San Sebastian, and was the Best Mexican Short Film in Guanajuato, in addition to obtaining awards and recognitions from the DGA, the Jerome Foundation and others.
Founder of Fidelio Films, the screenplay A FEW DAYS IN THE SUN, was selected to the Course of Development of Iberoamerican Cinematographic Projects of Ibermedia, on a scholarship by the Carolina Foundation, and also received the Development Grant from IMCINE (Mexican Film Institute). He has several projects in development, among which are TENEBRIS, a series of psychological terror and THE REUNION, which will be his first feature.
Currently working as a scriptwriter for Telemundo series and Netflix / StoryHouse.
