Isabelle Blanc

Director

A director, scriptwriter and photographer, she lives in Paris and Lausanne. She studied cinema at the University of Montreal from 1990-91 and at the cinema department of the ECAL (1991-1996), from which she graduated as a director in 1996. Her short films have been presented in Switzerland, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Her short ENTRE FRÈRE ET SOEUR (1996) received numerous awards, including the Golden Leopard for short film in Locarno. Her photographic works - exhibitions, installations and books - have been presented in Switzerland and Europe. In 2016, she was nominated for the PRIX ELYSEE of the Musée de l'Elysée in Lausanne. She has worked as an assistant director (Mocky, Chabrol), music teacher, iconographer, set photographer (Canal+) and carries out commissions (Canalstreet, Christofle, Maison & Objet, Ixcasala, Elle Déco, Paris Habitat, Jepars, Géo Magazine, University of Paris Diderot, University of Lausanne... ). Since 2019, she teaches photography at the University of Paris Diderot, gives lectures on cinema, and continues her activity as a screenwriter.
