Geboren 1987 in Verscio, Schweiz. Kilian Vilim verbrachte in Hamburg seine Jugend und studierte Illustration an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg. 2017 schloss er seinen Bachelor of Arts an der HSLU Design & Kunst ab. Mit seinem Diplomfilm OOZE (2017), nahm er an verschiedenen Festivals teil und gewann diverse Preise. Darunter den Basler Kurzfilmpreis, New Talent Award (Fantoche) und den Young Talent Award (Animateka). MR. PETE & THE IRON HORSE, den er mit dem YK Animation Studio produzierte, ist sein Debütfilm als freischaffender Animationsfilm Regisseur.
