Lila Ribi
Screenwriter, Cinematographer, Director
Born in 1979 in Aubonne, Switzerland. She graduated from École d’Arts appliqués Vevey in 2004, Bern University of the Arts in Fine Arts in 2006, and in 2009 from ECAL in directing. Her short film SPAGHETTI ALLE VONGOLE (2009) premiered at Visions du Réel and won the Grand prix du Jury at FRONTDOC. LE TÉMÉRAIRE (2009) premiered at Locarno Film Festival, and her first feature documentary SILENT REVOLUTION (2016) premiered at Visions du Réel in Nyon. Her latest feature-length documentary (IM)MORTELS premiered at Solothurner Filmtage in 2022 and was nominated for the Prix de Soleure.
