Geboren 1966 in Weinfelden, Schweiz. Studierte Journalismus und arbeitete fast zwei Jahrzehnte lang als
als Autorin für verschiedene Magazine. 1991 zog sie nach New York und begann, ihre ersten Filme zu drehen. 2002 Gründung der ican films gmbh, mit der sie mehrere preisgekrönte Kinodokumentarfilme produzierte, u.a. VIRGIN TALES (Finalist Maysles Brothers Award 2012). Ihr jüngster Film THE SCENT OF FEAR (2021) gewann den 7. Migros-Kulturprozent CH-Dokfilm Wettbewerb.
