Mitra Farahani
Producer, Director, Editor
Born in 1975 in Teheran, Iran. Mitra Farahani studied graphic design at the Azad University in Tehran. In 2000 she began studies in fine arts and video / cinema at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. As a visual artist, filmmaker and producer she works between both the still image and the moving image. Several of her films premiered in the Berlinale, among them JUST A WOMAN (2002), FIFI HOWLS FROM HAPPINESS (2013) and SEE YOU FRIDAY, ROBINSON (2022) in the Encounters section of Berlinale.
