Sebastian Ganschow was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany. He wanted to be a filmmaker ever since he can remember and started working in different positions on set, while studying Digital Media Sciences at Hamburg Media School. He gained a lot of experience in the camera department, working as a camera assistant on commercials and fiction. He left Hamburg in 2018 to master the ancient arts of Cinematography at Filmakademie Baden Württemberg.
Today he works as a Director of Photography in live-action, fiction, documentary, and short-form stuff, but is proud to have experience with Stop-Motion, Virtual Production, and Glitch Video Art as well. Occasionally he also likes to write and direct his own weird little projects.
