“Paul, why have we become such strangers?” asks director Ramòn Giger reproachfully of his busy father. Paul Giger, violinist of world renown, is arranging his opus Karma Shadub for a performance in the cathedral of St. Gallen. Ramòn films, searching for the person behind the musician, the father by whom he feels abandoned. In nightly conversations, a painful exploration of their relationship begins. Ramòn realises that at the bottom of his confused emotions is the separation of his parents.
