Twenty-four-year-old Samuel is no more than 135cm tall. However, his short stature is no reason for him to hide: as “Jimmyjoe” he is a famous show dancer on the national party scene. Sam seems to know no insecurities. His greatest uncertainty, however, stems from his past: Sam only knows that he was adopted. So he sets off in search of his biological mother and travels to Lisbon, where he discovers a surprise. A heartening film about dealing with a physical disability and psychological wounds.
