Born in Switzerland. Studied Psychology and Film Journalism. Worked for leading advertising agencies in Switzerland, Germany and Italy before working as a film producer and screenwriter. Founded the companies Contrast Film in Zurich and Bern and produces series, feature films and creative documentaries together with his two partners. Was Switzerland's “Producer on the Move” at Cannes Film Festival in 2017. Board Member of the Swiss Filmproducers' Association SFP and member of the Swiss Film Commission for documentaries, Swiss Film Academy and the European Film Academy.
