A shopping centre in the region of Berne organises a “Dream Couple Contest 1998”. The prize for the winning couple is a wedding, to be held in the shopping centre, a gift that will include the bride’s complete trousseau. A “comedy of sales promotion” in which the characters require cunning and negotiating know-how, in which values must compromise with the needs of self-promotion, and in which all resistance is ultimately overcome. A lightning tour of a world where all is not what it seems, and genuine and fake are as hard to tell apart as identical twins.
