Openly and spontaneously, the youth of Ruswil, a rural village in the canton of Lucerne, tell about their lives. Opinions on current issues are articulated, hopes and desires are expressed. “Abgedreht... ein Heimatfilm” is a lively patchwork of young people's viewpoints. The film was created within the framework of the two-and-a-half-year youth work project called “JugendTräume”. Thirty participants explored and analysed the medium of film and worked together with professionals to put their ideas and dreams on the screen, resulting in a touching self-portrait of the youth of Ruswil in the year 2002.
