Polo Hofer and his Schmetterband were in the limelight for 18 years - on and off stage – until the Swiss rock singer decided to break up his very successful band. The«“Mühle» in Hunziken was not only the setting for the band’s last ten gigs, but also the meeting place for friends, fans, families, former partners and competitors. «abXang» is a film with rough edges, a look back at the ups and downs in the career of «Switzerland’s last rock'n'roll band». But in particular, abXang is a closer look at a star who everyone seems to know but, in fact, few really know at all.
