When the international Alinghi Team won the prestigious Americas Cup 2003, they not only scored a victory for Switzerland, but brought the Cup back to Europe for the first time in 152 years. Wadimoff gives us the inside story from the team's early training days, and the path to glory wasn't necessarily smooth or easy. The appointment of various key international team members unleashed a frenzy of criticism both from the media and the international sailing community, and loyalties were tested. But for the Alinghi Team winning is not an option, it is a must, no matter what. An inspirational glimpse into the exclusive world of professional sailing, the film gives an insight into the passion and determination that spearheaded Alinghi's success.
