The touching emigration history of 86-year-old Amalia. Sixty years ago, the Surselva native travelled to the United States with a well-to-do family and later settled in New York. But she never forgot her home and her language. The film accompanies Amalia and her son Giancarlo on a trip back to her Grisons roots.
