In 1911 the Giacomettis get together for a family photo. The result is an artistic portrait, the most famous picture of this family of artists. The angelic head of curls turns into the seminal twentieth century artist, Alberto Giacometti, while the photographer, Andrea Garbald, is forgotten. At the end of the 1980s Hans Danuser discovers hundreds of glass negatives: the legacy of Andrea Garbald. Garbald took innumerable pictures in the Bergell. They tell atmospheric stories and allow insight into the artist's life. The directors create the framework to highlight these treasures.
