Daniel has arrived from Bilbao to work with star chef, Thomas Wackerle, in Zurich. However, before he can get adjusted to his new life, he falls in love with the sommelier, Hanna, Thomas’ long-time mistress. When Hanna is taken to hospital after a collapse, Daniel finds out that she is pregnant with Thomas’ child. But Thomas is not about to leave his wife. A seemingly unbridgeable closeness develops between Daniel and Hanna. But Daniel has to learn that for certain relationships there is no patent recipe and that sometimes you simply have to improvise.
