BRUNNGASSE 8 is a documentary about a house in Zurich's old town. Around 1320, the house was owned by a Jewish family and decorated with magnificent wall painting. They belonged to the Zurich elite and were involved in credit business. In the Zurich Progrom of 1349 the family was expelled or murdered. The oldest resident of the house, Silvana Lattmann, knows about violence as she experienced two world-wars. The film sheds light on a house, its inhabitants and their common history, migration.
BRUNNGASSE 8 è un documentario su una casa nel centro storico di Zurigo. Intorno al 1320, la casa era di proprietà di una famiglia ebrea e venne adornata con preziosi affreschi. Appartenevano all'élite zurighese e si occupavano di credito. Nel Pogrom del 1349 ne vennero cacciati o morirono.
