Mariana returns to her home country, Uruguay, after three years. She does not come back just to find her family, but also to vote. In the wake of an economical crisis which has plunged the country into depression, Uruguay is on the eve of historical, political change: the first victory for the left-wing “Frente Amplio”. Far from expansive meetings and political speeches, we are immersed in the daily reality of the small provincial town of Melo. In the privacy of a family of militants, we discover the reality of a Latin-American family revealing their feelings and their dreams.
