A film which is both simple and touching on the life of a young man of 26 who suffers from Downs Syndrome and who works as a waiter at the local inn of Satigny near Geneva. It took eight months of shooting to enable Thomas to tell his life story, his fears and worries, the loves of his life and the dream he cherishes of one day becoming a father. This documentary allows Thomas to speak for himself. Above all he insists on the importance of showing the mentally handicapped in a good light. This is certainly the case with Thomas himself who manages to give an enchanting image of his own handicap and of his view of the world.
