For over 30 years photographer Heini Stucki has been searching for an image of everyday Swiss provincial life that is unmistakebly his own, where the self-evident leads to surprising discoveries. His conspiritorial closeness to people, animals and landscapes, together with his acute eye and subversive lustiness enable him to discover archaic images repressed in our reality. This in itself is an art, just as art or photography – or “L’art de vivre”.
