Dr. Mascarenhas has been travelling through Tamil Nadu with his mobile clinic for more than twenty years. He gave up his career in Europe in order to help people in his home country of India together with his team. But he is not the only one to have dedicated his life to his fellow human beings. In a country that still witnesses more than 7000 dowry deaths each year, Daniel travels from place to place to rescue new-born girls before they are murdered. Two stories from a forgotten region; two fates that are interlinked.
