Set in the secretive world of professional mineral hunting, this compelling film follows two mineral hunters, Franz von Arx and Paul von Känel, as they discover the treasure of a lifetime on the Swiss Planggenstock mountain. At 2600 metres above sea level, the two men dig for crystal-clear quartz on their hands and knees. Their work is tricky, time-consuming and not without danger, but this time, they strike it lucky. After being hidden away for 16 million years, the Planggenstock treasure is flown to the Tucson Mineral Show in Arizona where the men hope to finally reap the rewards for all their hard work.
