Swiss amateur filmmakers produce about 2'000 documentary and feature films each year, measuring themselves against regional and national competition. The film introduces the viewer to four examples of Swiss amateur filmmakers – a lone wolf, a married couple, a joker and a provocateur. It provides a rare opportunity to enjoy some slices of Swiss culture that focus on the creative urge and a certain creative self-sufficiency.
