Dumeng Raffainer grew up in Ardez. As a boy, Dumeng Raffainer wanted to be an architect, but because he could not afford the studies, he trained to be a model maker. Today, he is pleased with the outcome, for he is as close to the architectural scene as he envisioned as a child. In the documentary . lm produced by Televisiun Rumantscha, architect and engineer Santiago Calatrava, architect Annette Gigon and architect and professor Hans Kollhoff tell of their collaboration and friendship with Dumeng Raffainer.
