Luc Bondy? Frank Castorf? Pina Bausch? Not at all. The filmmakers spent one year following the fate of a small theatre company far away from any metropolitan hotspot. A film about the daily sacrifice and heavy workload of people devoting their life to theatre. The viewer follows three productions in the course of their making: An intimate look into the varied life of a small theatre and the challenge and the bliss of being an actor.
