The film follows for four months the rehearsals of the play “Between The Worlds” – a story about insanity, played by people with psychological problems, amongst them Alessandro, Miriam and Stefan. Three people who are exposed daily to their own feelings and during these rehearsals they confront their illnesses and its pitfalls with humour and courage. Their personal stories form the fundamental basis. A film about three people who act out on stage and express their only wish, to be accepted just the way they are.
