Under a dictatorship, a militia soldier meets a woman in the resistance. The bridge on which they meet secretly – the frontier zone between the two camps – will be the backdrop for another conflict: that of physical attraction versus loyalty to one’s ideology. Sombre colours contribute to the weight of this film, which takes as a starting point an extreme political reality, exploring the human soul and the inherent contradictions which give it life.
