On the lookout for headline material, reporter Mike Bärtschi and photographer Bernhard Kauter are on their way to the office when suddenly before their very eyes the wife of the publisher of their own sensationalist newspaper “Exclusiv” is gunned down. Mike’s emotion-charged article on the killing stimulates a violent response from readers. The reporter also receives anonymous phone calls from the gunman, who threatens to kill again unless more stories about the killing are published on page one. Mike finally decides to alert the police. But it is too late. A fast-paced thriller that focuses on the world of sensationalist journalism, in which the border line between news and voyeurism is no longer easy to see. Unconsciously, each newspaper reader has to decide for himself where to draw the line.
