A filmmaker, his mother and father. Throughout the world, suffering and death are close to our thoughts today. The film is a deeply personal work, but at the same time it conveys a universal emotional content. We all go through the experience of aging – our own, that of our loved ones – and of death. A story shot over a fifteen year period, told with humor despite its drama, an ode to life beyond the suffering inherent in the human journey.
