Through poetic imagery we experience the controversy in modernity and tradition in everyday chinese life. Intertwined with the visuals, three chinese women tell, how they grew up in China and how it is for them to live abroad. While the drumer duo Bubble Beatz achieve big successes in China and a theatercompany wants to copy them. The Bubble Beatz sell their instrument and instruct two chinese drummers how to play Bubble Beatz.
