Nada is back in Lebanon as a stranger in her own country. She camps out in the ruins of her abandoned family home. The ghost of the little girl she once was guides her through her fragmented memories. She's chasing after a mystery that haunts her: what happened to her grandfather who went missing during the civil war? Nada fights to discover her grandfather's murderers, locate his remains, and give him a decent burial place. She challenges her neighbors, her family and her own brother. Nada's path is hard and chaotic. On the way, brotherhood can arise, tenderness can flourish.
