The story of the collector Cornelius Gurlitt and his father Hildebrand Gurlitt, Hitler's art dealer. The camera follows a man collecting mushrooms, the archetype of a collector. Images are like mushrooms, their hyphae, the mycelium, invisibly thwarting history and stories. The mycelium can extend over an enormous area.
