Former garage owner Hans Koller is not one to give up. Following his early retirement, he founded the private relief organisation «Rumänienhilfe Freundeskreis Hans Koller». Since then he has made regular trips to Rumania with his lorry and provides assistance wherever he can. We accompany the 67-year-old man from Aargau on his 79th trip transporting relief supplies to Viseu de Sus, a small town in northeast Rumania. Every trip is a new adventure for him, for Rumania is a trying place, and things are not always like Hans would like to have them. He has his moments of despair when confronted with the mentality of the local inhabitants. In addition, new regulations and instructions issued by the government make life difficult for him and his relief organisation. But Hans wants to continue his efforts – despite all the difficulties.
