In the middle of Zurich, the city which became the second home of Hans Josephsohn, lies his “House of Plastic Art” like an island of calm and silence. He has worked tirelessly for 60 years on his figures and reliefs. This film gives an insight into the exciting stories of Hans Josephsohn's youth, the journey of his emigration from Nazi-Germany via Italy to Switzerland entwined with a view into the every day life of the sculptor and the whole span of the fascinating and moving life of an artist. This is a cosy and calming film which discloses and adapts itself to the rhythm and lifestyle of the person it portrays and the fascinating world of the artist.
