In 1974 Arnold Hunsperger left home with his tractor, a red Hürlimann D70, aboard a Swiss train wagon. From Andermatt, a village in the center of the Swiss Alps, he traveled to Iraklia, a small island of the Cyclades. There Arnold lived and died, without ever returning to Switzerland.
Era il 1974. Arnold Hunsperger partì con il suo trattore, un Hürlimann D70 di colore rosso con un vagone delle Ferrovie Federali a Traino. Da Andermatt, al centro delle Alpi svizzere, raggiunse, attraversando i balcani, un’isola delle piccole cilcadi: Iraklia. Là visse e morì. Senza mai tornare.
