Anna and her boyfriend Thomas are going on a skiing holiday. Anna has chosen the remote Lötschental for their resort, because their vacation it is falling in with the alpine valley's ancient and archaic carnival season. Anna wants to know the «Tschääggattun»tradition as she has a connection with the Lötschental through her late grandmother. Moreover there is a secret in her family of her grandmother's past that Anna wants to investigate in.
