Florida, paradise of the retired, is home to the second biggest community of Holocaust survivors outside Israel. It continues to grow as ever larger numbers migrate there to enjoy the “autumn of their life” among their own kind. They soon find it is not so easy however. For with the pressures of a hard working life behind them, many find themselves really beginning to think about the distant past for the very first time.
