Snow, ice, sweat and the sound of chainsaws. Every four years, over a period of three months in winter, wood is cut in a steep mountain forest above Lake Aegeri in the Canton of Zug and prepared for log rafting. Neither technology nor progress has been able to replace this traditional craft.

Neve, ghiaccio, sudore e rumore di motosega. Al lago di Ägeri in Svizzera, ogni 4 anni, durante più di 3 mesi, viene tagliata della legna in un ripido terreno montuoso e, basandosi su una vecchia tradizione, la stessa viene resa adatta alla fluitazione. Né la tecnica né il progresso sono riusciti finora a reprimere questo tramandato mestiere.
