Although Klara has always charted the course of her life by the moon, this hasn’t prevented her from keeping both feet planted solidly on the ground in her native Emmental. As for Alfred, he often dreams of travel to far-off places, while carrying out his duties as barber to the village. Klara loves Alfred. Alfred loves Klara. But both have forgotten this fact somewhere along the way. A study of people living together after 60 years of marriage.
