In a small Jura mountain village near the Swiss border a young girl, Marie, has a vision in which a local child, Sébastien Louvier, is in danger of his life. Sylvestre discovers that Sébastien is in fact suffering from an as yet undiagnosed brain tumour. He also discovers that the mother, who has lost one child already, is convinced that Marie has put a curse on her family. Sylvestre’s dilemma is: how to deal with Marie and her vision, while at the same time rescuing Sébastien from the clutches of an unscrupulous exorciser so that he may receive proper clinical treatment…
